Thousands of homes and businesses in 10 South Cambridgeshire villages can now connect to gigabit-speed broadband after East Anglia-based County Broadband confirmed it has completed the construction of a multi-million pound broadband network.

500,000 in East Anglia connected to fibre broadband by 2027
Fibre broadband network across half a million buildings in the east of England by 2027 after Aviva Investors completed a private investment totalling £146m to bring world-class digital connectivity to Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex.
Fibre broadband rolling out to Cambridgeshire villages
County Broadband is in the process of connecting individual premises in the 10 villages to its full fibre broadband network, which will provide 11 times faster speeds and greater reliability compared to traditional existing copper-shell Superfast infrastructure, which government says is no longer fit for purpose living villages are: Meldreth, Shepreth, Great Eversden, Haslingfield, Little Eversden, Whaddon, Barrington, Harston, Orwell and Kingston. They join Fowlmere, Newton and Thriplow, who were joined by the provider earlier this year, bringing the total to 13.
