Grain’s full fibre network goes live in Oldham
Oldham residents can now enjoy the benefits of hyper-fast broadband.
The town’s new Grain Connect broadband network went live earlier this month. The full fibre to the premises (FTTP) network is available to thousands of properties in the North West town. It can deliver some of the UK’s fastest internet speeds to homes and business premises from just £25.99 p/m.
And that’s great news for the people of Oldham, who have struggled with substandard internet connection for years.
“The internet is notoriously bad around here,” said one resident. “We have to pay over the odds for rubbish packages. They’re slow and sometimes cut for hours at a time. Fast, reliable, and affordable internet is just what this town needs.”
And it gets even better. Grain Connect is offering a 40% discount on its 100Mbps packages. Customers who sign up will pay less than £16 p/m. All deals include a no mid-contract price rise. And there’s also Grain’s Loyalty Price Promise – customers that renew their contracts will get the same prices and discounts available to new customers.
This Oldham town roll-out is part of a £200million investment to connect 400,000 homes to the Grain Connect network over the next few years.
“The success of the Oldham build is proof that we can roll out Grain networks to every corner of the UK,” says Roland Barzegar, the firm’s Chief Financial Officer. “We can’t wait to bring super-fast, reliable, and affordable broadband packages to more local communities.”
“We recently introduced our Loyalty Price Promise, where at the end of their contract, we offer customers to renew at the same monthly price we advertise to new customers,” continues Barzegar. “Once you take out an agreement with Grain, you will always have access to great pricing, and your loyalty will never be exploited.”
“This is especially important to us now, with customers being impacted by the rising cost of living.”
