Zzoomm revenue up by 300% compared to last year
Zzoomm, UK fttp broadband provider, has released results for the year to 31 December 2021, with around 10,000 properties operational and around 1,400 customers connected at the end of 2021.
Zzoomm’s network rollout has continued with more than 50,000 premises operational and over 3,000 customers connected as at end June 2022. Revenue for the year to December 2021 was £0.4m, up 300 per cent from £0.1m in 2020, boosted by rising revenue from recurring subscriptions from customers at Henley-on-Thames (first Zzoomm network, completed in 2020).
Operating loss widened to £8.1m from a loss of £5m in 2020 on continued investment in an expanded workforce and donation fees. Zzoomm announced an expanded rollout to seven new market towns in May 2022, with a total of 16 market towns currently under construction. Once these networks are complete, Zzoomm will be able to provide full fibre broadband services to more than 250,000 homes and businesses.
