Hillingdon Council provides broadband to council houses
Hillingdon Council has partnered with Hyperoptic, the UK’s largest all-fibre internet service provider, to bring enhanced broadband connectivity to its council housing across the borough. This partnership covers all of Hillingdon Council’s council housing, which equates to over 11,000 homes. Hyperoptic will begin rollout by connecting 500 properties in the north-east of the district. Hyperoptic was the first company to offer broadband fibre to consumers.

The company is currently offering a three-month free promotion on its 24-month package and has the Hyperoptic Fair Fiber Plan, which allows those with certain means-tested benefits access to discounted rates on its monthly rolling packages. Prices start at 15 per month for a 50MB service.
