Amid Cost of Living Crisis Jurassic Fibre cut downs the Price of its Ultra-Fast Broadband
The broadband company recently reached its key milestone of 75,000 connected premises in response to the nationwide rise in the cost of living. The company has pledged to support local communities as they face rising living costs, offering a half-price deal on all packages through June 30, 2022.
Sarah Howells, Jurassic Fibre’s Chief Customer Officer said: There is a wide regional gap in energy bill charges, with standing order charges for residents in the South West being twice as high as in other areas of the UK. Data from the Office for National Statistics shows that over half a million people of working age live in the south west currently live in poverty and our region has some of the most deprived areas in the UK./It is important that we all do what we can to support those in need and address this regional disparity. Our half-price offer, redeemable on all our packages through June 30, 2022, will make all-fibre, ultra-fast broadband more affordable for everyone.
Jurassic Fibre aims to improve digital infrastructure in South West England and its network expansion is part of a €250m investment to cover 350,000 hard-to-reach premises missed by other providers. Two new sites have come online on its network – residents and businesses in Crediton and Dorchester can have full Fibre connectivity with Internet speeds of up to 950 Mbps for homes and 10Gbps for businesses. Ultra-fast broadband is already up and running in places like Exmouth, Honiton, Barnstaple, Sidmouth, Sherbourne, Yeovil and Okehampton
